It's nice to receive a little professional recognition. I have been named to the Super Lawyers 2015 Kentucky Rising Stars list in the category of Employment Litigation: Plaintiff (the only Kentucky attorney named in that category). Super Lawyers is a private rating service for attorneys. According to their web site:
Super Lawyers is a rating service of outstanding lawyers from more than 70 practice areas who have attained a high-degree of peer recognition and professional achievement. The selection process includes independent research, peer nominations and peer evaluations.
To be eligible for inclusion in Rising Stars, a candidate must be either 40 years old or younger or in practice for 10 years or less. While up to 5 percent of the lawyers in a state are named to Super Lawyers, no more than 2.5 percent are named to Rising Stars.
I am proud to join seven other Super Lawyers from Clay Daniel Walton & Adams, PLC: Garry Adams, Ted Walton, Thomas Clay, Louis Winner, Daniel Canon, Laura Landenwich, and Candace Curtis. We already like to think of ourselves as an elite group (and work hard to make that a reality), but a little outside acknowledgement is always nice.
